The main sources I use to build family trees include census records, tax records, vital records (birth, marriage, and death), and religious records. I also use complementary sources like newspaper archives and more.

I’ve been passionate about genealogy since my teenage years, spending time with my grandfather to read the family tree he created. At 16, I began expanding it, discovering many additional ancestors and relatives. I became comfortable navigating archives and deciphering historical handwriting at a young age. I hold a PhD in History from University Saint Joseph and have served as Vice Director of the National Archives Center of Lebanon for over 14 years.
